Bosch Solar Twin Tubes

The Twin Tubes are supply and return copper pipes that are pre-insulated to minimize heat loss and protect against freezing. The tubing assembly has an embedded collector temperature sensor and is surrounded by a robust weather/UV resistant jacket.

The Twin Tube assembly is designed to simplify the installation of the tube connections between the Bosch flat plate collectors and the solar storage tanks. The tubes are malleable so they can be flexed and turned to easily fit into the most challenging installations.

Bosch Solar Heat Transfer Fluid

The Bosch solar heat transfer fluid is specifically engineered for the Bosch Solar Thermal Systems. It is a ready-made mixture, consisting of 50% Polypropylene glycol and 50% water, that is food compatible and biologically degradable. The heat transfer fluid is specifically designed to protect the system components from frost and corrosion. It has a broad operational range from -35°F to 338°F(–37 °C to 170 °C).

Never dilute the prepared mixture and use only specified heat transfer fluid in Bosch solar heating systems. Use of other PPG voids the system warranty.
