The solar controllers ensure that the circulation pump is running when the benefit of free solar energy is available in the solar flat plate collectors on the roof. The solar heat is then transferred to the solar storage tanks where hot water is heated for domestic or space heating demands.

TRU310 U Solar Controller
This differential temperature control provides automatic, safe and reliable operation of domestic solar hot water heating systems. The TRU310 U is wired to the pump that circulates the heat transfer fluid. The microprocessor utilizes two temperature sensors to accurately monitor the collector and tank temperatures and diagnose any system faults. The LCD display provides user-friendly real-time information, including system temperatures at 3 different locations. The TRU310 U provides anti-freeze and vacation overheat protection for the solar system.
